Desperados// DIY Dubplate

Desperados’s latest content-fuelling act, Sound Stage WTF, saw influencers and partygoers enjoy a unique 360 live performance from KiNK. Iconic Soundsystems from across Europe were brought together and, with the help of our guests, used as live instruments to realise a specially written track.

To o turn the influencer's two day stay in Amsterdam into a full brand experience we allowed them to further explore this spirit of creation and collaboration by conceiving… DIY Dubplate.

They created their own VIP dubplate of KiNK’s track - using found sounds out on the streets (where they encountered a fly posters featuring their faces), one-off dub sirens created with modular synths, even screen-printed cover art, featuring their likenesses. They were able to go on a creative journey, thanks to Desperados. And we made sure the vinyl was packaged up and waiting for them the next morning.
